Purple'n'Gold, Mini-flora/ Patio. Seedling of Hot Tamale x MiniFl. Seedling Purple-red/Gold blooms. 25 to 35 petals. Average diameter 3", HT form. Registration approved 11/17/2004 It took 12 years of trial & error, trying to get a "PURPLE/GOLD" colour seedling. The Purple-red colour varies in different weather conditions. I finally succeeded using different own seedlings and seedlings of named varieties for seed and/or pollen parents. This seedling survived minus 12 to 14 degr. C (about 10 F) for several nights unprotected in a 2 gallon pot. Many other varieties and seedlings in 2 gall pots did not survive.
