Rules
- Everyone is welcome to post messages to the forum.
- All messages should have some relevance to hybridizing roses.
- Email addresses will be kept confidential.
- HTML is allowed in messages.
- Advertisements are not allowed.
- JavaScript and other scripting languages are not allowed.
- Profanity and personal attacks are not allowed.
Instructions
The RHA Forum's message list is
sorted so that the most recently updated messages are at the top of the page.
Click on a message link to view the message and its replies.
When you click on a message link,
the color will change to show that you have seen that message.
If someone later posts a reply to that message, the link color will change back to indicate
that you haven't seen the latest reply to the message.
Use the 'Post a new message' form at the bottom of the page to post a message.
When posting a message, you must enter your name and the subject.
You may optionally enter your email address.
To ensure your privacy,
your email address will be hidden from other users
and from automated email address collectors.
If you wish to be notified by email whenever anyone replies to your message,
click the 'Notify me by email' check box. If you check this box, you must
enter a valid email address.
If you wish to include a link to a web page in your message,
enter the page address in the 'Page link' field. For example:
If you wish to include a picture in your message,
enter the web address of the jpg or gif file in the 'Photo link' field.
For example:
The message page shows the original message and all of the replies to it.
If the author of a message or a reply entered an email address,
there will be a link labelled 'email' next to the author's name.
Click the link if you wish to send an email to the author.
To reply to a message, use the 'Reply to message' form at the bottom of the message page.
Replies should have some relevance to the original message.
(If you wish to post a message on an unrelated topic,
use the 'Post a new message' form on the main RHA Forum page.)
If your reply is focused on a particular aspect of the preceding discussion,
you may change the 'Subject' line to reflect the focus of your reply.
There is a search facility on the main RHA Forum page.
To search all of the messages in the forum, enter one or more words or word fragments
in the 'Search messages for' field and click on the 'Search' button.
Punctuation marks and other special characters will be ignored.
A word is considered to match if it is found anywhere in the message,
including within another word.
For example, 'fragran' will match both 'fragrance' and 'fragrant'.
The search is case-insensitive, so 'fragran' will also match 'Fragrance' and 'Fragrant'.
The 'Search Results' page lists the messages that contain all of the entered words.
