Number of leaves clue to parentage?

Does the number of leaves on an OP seedling give any indication as to parentage? Does a three lealet rose mean no five leaflet parents, or a five leaflet rose mean five leaflet parents - etc...

To be perfectly honest, I don't think there are any conclusions to be drawn from leaflet count, as regards parentage.

Yeah, its really a mix and match/case by case basis.
